# Custom Emoji Setup

1\. Input your custom emoji inside a Discord text channel.

2\. Add a **backslash** character **`\`** before the emoji without any spacing.

3\. Send the custom emoji with the backslash right before. It should look like in the image below.

4\. Copy and paste that in Nexus dashboard in the **Emoji** field, then proceed with normal configuration.
